Secure your Data with the ARMS SSO Portal
The ARMS system manages end-user authentication for both the desktop ARMS client and the web-based ARMS modules through the ARMS Identity Service web application. In addition, ARMS Identity Service supports end-user authentication integration with SAML 2.0 based SSO systems. SAML 2.0 is widely used for SaaS authentication; it is well established and provides excellent security.
SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is an open standard that allows identity providers (IdP) to pass authorization credentials to service providers (SP). SAML transactions use Extensible Markup Language (XML) for standardized communication between the identity and service providers. SAML is the link between the authentication of the end user’s identity and the authorization to use the system.
