ARMS Parking has all the tools and features in one system to automate and manage your entire parking operation – Finally eliminating the costly need to piece together separate solutions from multiple vendors. Whether used on its own or with our ARMS Mobile Citation Writers, ARMS Parking will increase your agency’s productivity and most importantly, your revenues.

ARMS Parking organizes all data entry, information management, accounting and reporting tools into an easy to use system. ARMS Online Parking components give your faculty, students, and visitors the ability to register for their parking permits, as well as appeal their citations online, freeing your staff from time-consuming data entry duties. In addition, our accounting module can easily integrate into any third-party system while still maintaining separate business rules.

  • Single point of entry (reduces redundancy and data entry time).
  • Multiple data entry options; point and click, short cut keys, or commands menu. The user may choose any method or combination.
  • Permit, Person, Citation, and Vehicle Modules are fully integrated with CAD/RMS; you can also search within any module.
  • Mobile Citation Writers can quickly and easily scan in the permit and create a citation. At the end of the shift, the handheld syncs with the ARMS Parking database to allow for updating of Scofflaws, Booting, and Towing information.
  • Scofflaw Processing allows for fees to automatically be escalated when previous citations have been issued to the vehicle. This fee escalation is calculated when the citation is entered, via manual data entry or the mobile citation writing application. The process also shows alerts for “booting, towing, etc.”
  • With Timed Lot Management, ARMS Mobile Citation Writer maintains the time a vehicle is parked in either a timed parking zone or specific space, and the user will automatically be notified if a vehicle has violated the timed parking limit.
  • Eliminate long lines, clogged inboxes, & endless phone calls with Online Appeals. The same Parking Portal where students, faculty, & staff register for permits can also be utilized to create and track appeals for citations. When someone creates an appeal on the Parking Portal an alert will appear in ARMS Parking for Appeal Management.
  • With a complete financial and accounting system the ARMS System allows the user to process and post payments to accounts, multiple or single payments and third party billing.

Engineered with the ultimate in CAD/RMS/Parking integration, ARMS Parking shares common Master Name and Vehicle records with the other ARMS Enterprise CAD/RMS modules.

The Persons Module

ARMS Parking tracks detailed information about “Persons” with permits. Each name in the Persons window is stored and displayed with associated accounting, citation, permit, and vehicle information. This window allows a single name to be associated to one or more permits, to one or more vehicles, with automated association between the three objects.

The Persons window allows full view of the accounting history of a name record, along with the ability to post charges and/or payments to the name.

The Permits Module

ARMS Parking tracks detailed information about “Permits” issued to “Persons” & “Vehicles”. Every permit is stored and displayed with the associated name, vehicles, and citations. This window allows a single permit to be associated to a single name, to one or more vehicles, and to one or more
citations, with automated association between the three objects.

As a name is associated to a permit, corresponding vehicles are associated to the permit as well. The same logic is used when associating vehicle(s) to a permit; the corresponding name is associated as well.

The Citations Module

ARMS Parking can utilize your handheld PC to issue “Citations” in the field. Every permit is searchable from the handheld. Each citation written is synchronized from the handheld back to the main data source. Depending on your handheld equipment, barcode scanning enables the user to easily issue
and print citations while in the field.

The New Citation window provides the ability to issue, store, and print new Citations. The information captured in a citation includes the Permit, Vehicle, Driver, Violation(s), Location of, and Notes about the citation (no permit, fraudulent permit, etc).

Good handheld equipment choice provides the ability to scan a permit barcode to issue citations. The addition of a field printer provides the ability to print a citation to leave on the vehicle. The more popular choices for handheld equipment are units that provide rugged durability, barcode scanning, and wireless print features.

The Vehicles Module

ARMS Parking tracks detailed information about “Vehicles” with or without permits. Every auto in the Vehicles window is stored and displayed with associated names, permits, and citations. This window allows a single vehicle to be associated to one or more permits, to one or more persons, to one or more citations, with automated association between the three objects.

Photos of the auto may also be attached to the Vehicle record. ARMS Parking comes with a built-in photo editor that provides the ability to open a photo from the computer’s hard drive, crop/resize the image, and save it to the Vehicle record.
