Computer Aided Dispatch

ARMS Computer Aided Dispatch is a software suite that streamlines the process of dispatching by efficiently managing and tracking everything involved in an incident including the responding officer(s) and their status, insuring the officer’s safety by making information available such as Location History and Standard Operating Procedures, and more.

ARMS CAD provides a straight forward approach for managing units for a single agency, multiple agencies, or multiple jurisdictions. Dispatchers can utilize different screen configurations to best suit the agency: single monitor or multiple monitor configurations.

ARMS CAD allows the dispatcher to direct units and access support data, all from within the same application. Interfaces with NCIC and State and Regional databases. ARMS CAD offers seamless integration with ARMS Mapping, ARMS Records Management, and ARMS Mobile.

ARMS CAD effectively manages resources, responses and all dispatching activities. Built on Microsoft’s mainstream technology, ARMS provides the agency with the tools to succeed. Save time, stay organized, and keep personnel in the field safe with ARMS Computer Aided Dispatch.

  • Allows users to manage a large amount of information – available units, unit locations, unit statuses, pending and active calls, SOP’s, Security Matrix of Premises, Contacts, and more.
  • SOPs allow the agency to decline departmental procedure, necessary intake information, and protocols for all events.
  • Address and Common Name Geo validation.
  • Captures, manages, and prioritizes mission-critical data to enable decisions in situations where every second counts.
  • Multiple data entry options: point and click, shortcut keys, commands menu, or drag and drop – users can choose their favorite method or use a combination.
  • Track all Dispatch Resources, including personnel and vehicles.
  • CAD Alerts and Timers, set and modified per event.
  • NCIC and CJIS queries can be executed from within the CAD window.
  • Call “Stacking” allows the dispatchers to assign or stack multiple calls to a single unit; as the unit clears the call the dispatcher is reminded of the next call in the queue.
  • Call ‘Reassignment’ allows the dispatcher to easily reassign units while maintaining the call and unit history. This feature is accomplished with no additional pop-up windows or keystrokes.
  • Connect to 911 systems. Capture ANI/ALI information that can be associated with any CAD event or used to create a CAD event.
  • CAD Event information can include Names, Property, and Vehicle records. Once data is entered, it is available from all ARMS modules for reduced data entry.
  • Complete location and premise history – View previous events from the location, view officer safety conditions, alarm company information, owner contact, and hazardous materials information all without leaving CAD.
  • Visual and Audible Alerts when a user views a location or person that has an Officer Safety notification indicated on their record.
  • User defined statuses can be recorded for all units.
  • Using the ARMS Data Browser, CAD users may query any module in ARMS without closing CAD.
  • Using ARMS Notification Manager, email notifications can be sent based on the type of incident code created.
  • Dual monitor capabilities.
  • Over 30 canned Reports that allows the agency to quickly review and analyze statistics such as incident trends, department activities, officer activities, calls for service, and more
